During the 3-Day period, Xeikon Café Packaging Innovations held at Xeikon production site in Lier, Belgium – received over 350 visitors from 48 countries. Participants were able to upgrade their knowledge on digital production, become acquainted with 15 different novel applications and experience first-hand demonstrations from Xeikon and partners.
The exhibitors of Consumables & tools areActega, Argos, Michelman, and Squid inks. For Equipment, exhibitors include: ABG International,Bograma, Diamond Photofoil, GM, Highcon, Kama, Meech, Rietstack, Rotometrics, Schober, ThermoflexX, and Tronics. The Print Media exhibitors are: 3M, Iggesund , Siliconature,Stora Enso, Treofan, and UPM. Lastly Software exhibitors are: Advanced Track & Trace, Cerm, Chili Publish, Hybrid, Labeltraxx, and Onevision.

The Concept
The concept of a Xeikon Café is simple but effective: To provide an informal knowledge exchange platform covering the different aspects of digitalizing print production, while cutting through the information overload. Every Xeikon Café is organized around a central theme or topic, such as digital printing technology, converting equipment, print media, software or consumables and targets a specific industry, i.e. labels & packaging or document & commercial printing.
