COLD CHAIN EXPANSION IN EAST AFRICA DRIVING DEMAND FOR ADVANCED PACKAGING, PROCESSING, AND PLASTICS SOLUTIONS

The Managing Director of Lagos State Signage & Advertisement Agency (LASAA) – Mr George Kayode Noah has reaffirmed his agency’s commitment in providing veritable platform for the growth and development of signage and outdoor advertising business in Lagos State nay Nigeria.

 

He made the commitment at the just concluded maiden edition of African Outdoor Advertising Conference & Exhibition 2014 from 25th to 27th June which was declared open by Lagos State Commissioner for Environment – Mr. Tunji Bello. Commenting further, Noah said: “Our objective is to create an enabling environment that will help all players in our sector to grow their business and to keep abreast with new innovations from across the globe”.

Industry stakeholders within the out-of-home advertising industry within and outside the country also converged at the conference session tagged: ‘The Business of Outdoor Advertising in Africa: Opportunities & Challenges’ to look at trends, best practices, innovations and challenges within the Nigerian and African context. Industry stakeholders that spoke during event include Registrar/Chief Executive of APCON, Alhaji Bello Garuba Kankarofi, Chairman of Troyka Group, Chief Biodun Shobanjo; President of Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) – Mrs. Bunmi Oke; President of Outdoor Advertising Association Of Nigeria (OAAN) – Mr. Charles Chijide among other practitioners, suppliers and media buyers.
