Fujifilm confirms its leadership position in the production of world-class print equipment at the just concluded FESPA Africa 2015 (22-24 July 2015) by exhibiting the best range of print technologies such as Uvistar and Acuity printer series.
Uvistar is a fast and cost-effective UV inkjet platform for wide format and superwide format graphics with throughput speeds of over 350 m2/hr (5m model). Uvistar printers are fuelled by Fujifilm’s own high performance Uvijet inks, producing high quality, vibrant images. Uvistar is suitable for the production of a variety of poster displays, point-of-purchase materials, billboards, vehicle graphics and backlight signage up to 5 metres wide, but new Uvijet ink developments make it possible to further broaden the range of media that you print on, like polyethylene for single skin posters.
The Acuity high productivity UV flatbed printer is designed for display and signage with exceptional performance. The Acuity can help print businesses to: print faster, without compromising on print quality; manage high volumes, with faster turnaround; and produce print on a wide range of media.
Visitors to the Fujifilm stand also saw demonstrations of the legendary Inca Onset R40i – live from one of Fujifilm’s customers in Cape Town. The Inca Onset machine combines quality with speed, and among the factors that investors go for in selecting the Inca Onset as their printer of choice are its outstanding productivity, excellent printing quality, and comparatively low running costs.
Talking costs; printers know that a lot of money goes into consumables especially inks. And when quality at the right price is sought, Fujifilm is the number one supplier, thanks to its acquisition of the Sericol screen ink business in 2006, and the subsequent development in a world-class inkjet manufacturing plant, meaning regular supply of ink to its customers is not in doubt.
Finally at the show, Fujifilm experts were on hand to guide and advise their clients and potential customers on how to get the best from their print.
