With over 50 years in the printing and publishing industries, RIT lecturer and author – Dr. Frank Romano is unarguably one of the best persons to predict the future of printing and publishing industries.
Yes, I agree with most of Dr. Romano predictions like ‘Inkjet will continue to offer more alternatives than we can deal with’ and ‘Quick printers will use time travel to deliver jobs yesterday. Customers will complain that this is not fast enough’, but the question is: – have you take time to sit down to review how your business faired last year? Which projects or customers to maintain in 2014 – and what plan to put in place in order to achieve 100% success for 2014 (print) business year?
Unfortunately, planning alone will not be enough to successfully reach your company’s objectives for 2014. You have to also take care of your co-workers because it is the team that has to implement, control, and where necessary; correct the business plan to meet objectives on schedule and within budget. Therefore, your team’s human/ capacity development and effectiveness – especially to bring about undiluted commitment have to be established to make success achievable this year.
