Despite the difficult economic and geopolitical conditions and higher material, energy, and personnel costs et all, the industry has truly shown two of its most important nature: resilience and determination. From May 28th to June 7th it was all good news from drupa 2024 – the world’s No. 1 and leading trade fair for print technologies. Over the 11 successful days (and even beyond), the headlines were awash with: “unmatched sales”, “hugely successful show”, “smashed targets”, “historic sales”, “overwhelming interest and adoption”, “positive drupa”, “highly successful”, “extraordinary order intakes”, “Targets exceeded”, “unprecedented amount of orders”, “phenomenal event” …thus empowering print & allied businesses worldwide to now think differently in a bid to achieve exceptional levels of efficiency, quality, innovation, growth and sustainability. WHERE To Print believes that this year’s drupa came at the right time because it was not just a millstone show but a catalyst for the entire industry, heralding a future (aside the aforementioned positives) where digital capabilities unlock limitless possibilities thus engendering strategically huge investment for the future.
