In the wake of a three-day unforgettable experience, PRINTING United Expo 2025, produced annually by PRINTING United Alliance, the most comprehensive member-based printing and graphic arts association in North America, concluded its annual gathering of the global printing community on Friday, 24 October at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida with global acolades to excellent organisation after it also delivered a record-breaking number of attendees and exhibitors whose extraordinary energy and engagement across every segment of print, from commercial and packaging to apparel, functional, industrial, in-plant, and wide-format graphics reignite the passion for print.
Sponsored by industry bigwigs such as Canon USA, Fujifilm, Standard Finishing Systems, Brittani, TVF, and Müller Martini, PRINTING United Expo 2025 was unofficially opened a day earlier (Tuesday, October 21) to 50 top global media at the award-winning PRINTING United Expo Media Day, where the Media had a one-on-one interaction with leading exhibitors who presented their newest technologies in an intimate and relaxed environment. The setting was opened by PRINTING United Alliance President/ CEO Ford Bowers, who gave the welcome address as he noted the significant contributions of the Media not only in covering the show but also to the growth and development of the entire industry through quality reporting. Then, the NAPCO Media (now Alliance Insights) duo of Nathan Safran and Lisa Cross presented a top-notch State-of-the-Industry Report, covering AI adoption, top business concerns, and opportunities for 2026, among other topics. Thereafter, top exhibitors presented their newest technologies, product debuts, armed with industry insights. PRINTING United Expo Title Sponsor Canon USA, represented by Robert Barbera and Rich Reamer, spoke on the world debut of the all-new Colorado XL-series large-format printers, the varioPRINT iX1700 inkjet press, and the imagePRESS V1350 digital press. Canon’s leadership in the global print industry was also reaffirmed with LabelStream LS2000, a five-colour (CMYK plus white) inkjet label press, and the new corrPRESS iB17 industrial inkjet press designed for high-quality, high-speed digital printing on corrugated packaging. Under its ‘M.O.R.E. Methodology’ theme to enable print service providers (PSPs) to make more through its Multi-platform production, Optimized performance, Revenue growth, and Expanded experiences, Fujifilm Andrew Gunn presented ACUITY TR™ powered by breakthrough AQUAFUZE® Ink Technology, REVORIA PRESS™ EC2100S and SC285S with expanded Specialty Toners, REVORIA PRESS™ PC1120, and REVORIA XMF PressReady Lite software, among several other entry-level large format solutions.
While Durst’s Becky McConnell (with its sister company, Vanguard Digital) highlighted their latest showcase, such as the new P5 500 TEX iSUB, P5 X flatbed printers, alongside the P5 350 HS hybrid solution and Tau 340 RSC E label printers, Radnor hybrid printer, Harpeth print-to-stack, and Natchez flatbed printers for difficult substrates, Kornit Digital Americas Ilan Elad announced that the company’s 20 years of innovation would be celebrated with their customers at PRINTINGUnited Expo 2025 by highlighting the customers’ successes in using Kornit’s on-demand digital textile products. Along with live sessions of customers’ success that showcased how Kornit’s technology helped grow their businesses, the celebration, among others, also included a happy hour and networking event.
Agfa’s Deborah Hutcheson revealed the global debut of its Jeti Bronco H3300 HS, alongside Onset Panthera FB3216, Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS – Agfa’s fastest and most advanced multi-pass printer – and the compact Anapurna Ciervo H2500. It should be noted that the Anapurna Ciervo H2500 celebrated its 20 years as one of Agfa’s long-time trusted presses that offers speeds up to 59 m²/h in production mode in a 2.5-meter format with proven versatility for PSPs from banners and vinyl to textiles and corrugated substrates. 10 limited editions of the customised Anapurna range offered to interested PSPs at the show were sold out.
With the merger and combined logo of Müller Martini and Hunkeler, Andy Fetherman announced the North American debut of two groundbreaking technologies: the Antaro Digital perfect binder and the Hunkeler GEN8 EVO roll-to-stack solution, set to redefine digital print finishing and underscore Müller Martini’s commitment to delivering future-ready, market-driven solutions. While STAHLS ’s Josh Ellsworth demonstrated its heat printing technology, tools, materials, and software, like the Fulfill Engine, aside from the numerous free-to-attend educational lineups that provided insights on heat printing for both new and experienced decorators, Mimaki’s Josh Hope rounded off the Media Day with the announcement of the brand-new UJF-7151 plusII e UV-LED flatbed printer. He also announced the availability of brand new TS200-1600 dye-sublimation printer, TxF300-75 Direct-to-Film printer, and several under $10,000USD dye-sublimation 200 series printers that combine advanced imaging performance with ease of use.

The 2025 edition of PRINTING United Expo came alive to a non-stop showcase of innovation, inspiration, and exciting networking with the official ribbon-cutting by PRINTING United Alliance leadership after an electric opening ceremony performance by Freedom High School’s Pride of the Patriots Marching Band and Colour Guard.

Beyond the impressive technology line-up, new features that gave this year’s PRINTING United Expo another edge to be conferred the BEST show so far were the numerous educational programmes that addressed today’s most pressing challenges and emerging opportunities. Without doubt, these stand-out features also reconfirmed the show’s strong focus on community and collaboration. They included the ever-popular Apparel Zone that offered targeted insights for the specialised textile sectors (even as select PRINTING United Alliance All-Stars had a go live on heat transfer process creating a buzz around the show floor), industry’s star educational platform iLEARNING+, along with the inaugural Alliance’s latest industry certification programme – G7®/G7+™ Exchange, and other expanded educational features with expert-led sessions that focused on business growth, technology trends, workforce development, AI, sustainability et all, were offered to attendees free-of-charge.

Planned networking events like PRINTING United AFTER Dark, Student Day, and Women in Print Alliance also concurrently provided invaluable connections for peers with invaluable experiences to future industry leaders, and potential business partners. The Women in Print Alliance luncheon and networking events further supported, celebrated, and empowered women shaping the future of print.
Record-Breaking Number of Attendees and Exhibitors in Orlando
No doubt, there was so much to see, learn, and experience at PRINTING United Expo 2025, just as the energy across the show floor of the purpose-built Orange County Convention Centre was truly exhilarating from DAY 1 as everyone connected as if the show was only meant for a day. Excellent stats that came out of the show in terms of exceptional and hitch-free organisation, and outstanding numbers of registered quality attendance, which birthed a record number of successful deals closed on the show floor. A further confirmation of the show’s success, accolades, and reconfirmation that the industry is thriving. In all, this year’s show welcomed over 30,000 registered attendees from 104 countries, featuring 838 exhibitors showcasing the latest advancements in printing technology, materials, and workflow solutions. The event spanned a million square feet of exhibit space, sold — buzzing with innovation and excitement from start to finish.
“PRINTING United Expo continues to prove that the printing industry is vibrant, evolving, and full of opportunity,” said Ford Bowers while noting further that; “Each year, we see stronger engagement, deeper collaboration, and an even greater spirit of innovation and scale from every corner of print.”
By the Numbers — 2025 Expo Highlights
As the 2025 event came to an end on Friday, 24 October, early reports suggested astounding show floor sales, activations, attendance, and engagement. Some of the preliminary reports are as follows:
- Over 30,000 registered attendees
- 838 exhibiting companies across all industry market segments
- 4.7 million pounds of equipment on the show floor
- 104 countries represented at the 2025 Expo
- Hundreds of new product launches, including global debuts
- More than 100 educational sessions and presentations
- Nearly 60 participating media outlets and association partners from around the world
- 50 top global media outlets attended the exclusive pre-show Media Day event on October 21
- Over 60 students from local and national schools and universities attended the annual Student Day, held in partnership with Print & Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF)
- More than 300 attendees convened at the Women in Print Alliance luncheon
