This commitment was made by the Chairman in his Ibadan office when WHERE To Print magazine came visiting.
He noted that his administration was more than ever committed to tackle incessant discord which hinders the overall progress of the association in the state. “Disunity and greediness among other vices are the root causes of the hindered development of the four zones in Ibadan and we have plans to tackle and reduce them to the barest minimum” assured Ademuyiwa while stating that his administration would carry everyone along before and during implementation of his plans and strategies noting further that, “ASSPPON, Mokola Zone is the biggest in the state and thus we have the number and larger voice. Mokola as we all know it is the print hub of Ibadan and we are willing to foster coalition and unity with other zones, so as to have a single voice because when we are united, it will be hard to break us”.
Mr. Ademuyiwa is also planning extend his unity mission to the parent body for printers – Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON) as he declared that, “when CIPPON sees how well unity is prioritized in our state; they can also adopt the same method within the Institute at the national level. And when the national body sees what we can do, I’m positive it will help improve and foster unity within CIPPON and at that point we can have a roundtable discussion with CIPPON on how to move the industry forward starting with members’ plight”.
