Subsequent to a Stakeholders Meeting held in October, 2016 by Institute of Packaging Nigeria (IOPN) to energize the Packaging Industry, series of restructuring sessions have commenced with Management Consultant – SeedWorth Consulting to plan, strategise, recommend for implementation – the restructuring of the Institute.
The first session which was hosted by Heidelberg Nigeria Limited on April 11th, 2017 saw industry stakeholders fully committed to revamp the fortune of the Institute in delivery on its cardinal objectives of advocacy, education and standardization of the industry. During the session, a Work Approach was drafted that will assess the current situation of the Institute, vis a vis its futuristic vision, strategic plans and execution, governance and road map for a new Institute.
With other sessions planned in the coming weeks, WHERE To Print gathered that restructuring exercise is expected to evolve IOPN into an effective structure with systems and processes that work. Accordingly, the Institute led by its current President – Mr. Mike Adekola is dedicated to offering world class professionalism, standards, and economic value to all packaging professionals in the country as well as promoting and growing packaging businesses in Nigeria.
