WHERE To Print gathered that Konita CTP in both thermal and UV CTP are available to the commercial and newspaper market segments from 24-up to 64-up, imaging between 16 to 28 plates an hour at resolutions of 2, 400 dpi. According to a release signed by Mr. Kayode Kehinde – the CEO of Glow Colours Limited, Konita machine uses positive thermal CTP plate and UV-CTP plate with dot gain properties, longer run length and adaptability to diverse print applications. He also noted that Konita CTP machines are more affordable and durable to the competition. ‘The direct digitalized plate of Konita CTP is simplified throughout the production flow, leaving out many processes, such as manual makeup, plate burning and plate retouching. And set-up time is shortened, the overprinting is quickened with more accuracy, and finally – production efficiency and print quality are improved significantly’.
