The Fujifilm Frontier-SDX100 which was introduced for the first time into the Nigerian market is a small, scalable photo printer ideal for processing a large quantity of prints. It can approximately produce a print every 10 seconds by using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Sky Blue and Pink Dye inks for creating detailed images with quality gradations.

According to Laurent Audry – the Division Manager Professional Africa & Optical Devices of Fujifilm, “the Frontier – SDX100 is a high speed printer that combines image intelligence with long lasting quality prints. It is easy to maintain and possess an interactive touch screen. The Frontier-SDX100 can make print that lasts for 100 years before fading because it has no-chemistry; prints dry immediately and thus eco-friendly. One essential feature of this Smart Lab Printer is its low power consumption; all it needs is a 120W electricity which is beneficial to the Nigerian market as we all know the situation here.”

The smart lab printer which has over 25, 000 installation world-wide was valued at 2million Nigerian Naira at the launch on 1st of December 2016 at Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja Lagos but a price slash was announced for the first 50 orders at 1.5million Nigerian Naira with financial support in collaboration with United Bank of Africa (UBA).

Guests present at the unveiling includes renowned photographers, print industry practitioners, Fujifilm channel partners – Foto Africa Distributors LTD, media executives and other business owners. Few lucky Guests also won grand prizes from Indigo Digital and Fujifilm. WHERE To Print was present at the unveiling and reports in images.
