After the Special Dedication Prayer by the Most Reverend Dr. Adebola Ademowo, Bishop of Lagos & Dean Emeritus – Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, which was immediately followed by the formal opening/ unveiling of plaque by Lagos State Governor – His Excellency, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN). After this, Mrs. Elsie Akin-Adesola, Chief Operating Officer of the company took guests on a tour of the press facilities. During the tour, WHERE To Print magazine gathered that the ultra-modern press is equipped with not just the best but most up-to-date printing machines from the pre-press to the press and on to the post-press of printing.

This is because the offset printing unit features a brand new one-pass, 5-Colour, A-1 size machine with maximum speed of 16,000 sheets per hour that requires minimal (i.e. substantially shortened) make-ready time for maximum productivity. This environmentally responsible machine saves energy and resources, and reduces harmful chemical substances such as volatile organic compounds (VOCS) released during printing. The products also comply with the restriction of hazardous Substances Directive (ROHS) of the European Union. This industry-leading machine model is supported by a cutting-edge CTP machine with dot per dot imaging and a full complement of specialized finishing equipment from the world’s leading manufacturers.
With five (5) different Large Format machines of varying capacities, Digital Reality’s Large Format unit is perhaps one of the most versatile in the country. They are equipped to handle a broad range of printing and die-cutting tasks, and from the smallest, myopic objects to extremely large sizes for application on billboards and outdoor signages. One of the latest acquisitions by the company is a Flat Bed printer and Router/Plotter for industrial graphics and signage production. The flat bed printer can print on any surface type, e.g. metals and plastic. The router/plotter has the capability to cut through any surface of up to 50mm thickness.
In the fully-equipped monogram, digital screen print and heat transfer units, Digital Reality has excelled in the production of promotional items and business support solutions. Her super-fast, state-of-the-art equipment with printing resolution of up to 600dpi enables the unit to achieve superior colour matching and accurate spot colour printing on t-shirts, towels, caps, corporate gifts, etc.
