Canon has set another significant milestone in its overall growth strategy to expand in Africa. The globally acclaimed imaging company organized series of events to celebrate plans that strengthen its presence in Nigeria by establishing a Canon office and announcing their network of partners.
During one of the events which started with a press conference, Canon Europe B2B Sales Development & Marketing Director, Koji Sato stated the strategic importance of Nigeria to Canon’s business growth: “we have to succeed in Africa – and we won’t be able to do so without being in Nigeria”.
To wrap up the events, an Exclusive Dinner held at the Grand Ball Room of Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos played host to print industry practitioners, film makers, renowned photographers, Canon Channel Partners and other business owners.
The event was hosted by broadcaster and journalist – Keturah King and guests were treated to a three course meal with musical performances by Isaac Geralds (of Project Fame), Tekno, Waje and others.
