After close consultation with exhibitors and partners, drupa – the world’s leading trade show for print technologies, has been cancelled for 2021 due to the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic however to now hold from May 28 to June 7, 2024. But to maintain the momentum until then, drupa organisers – Messe Düsseldorf will be holding a four-day digital event titled ‘virtual.drupa’, to take place from 20 to 23 April 2021 during the time frame drupa was originally scheduled for.
According to Messe Düsseldorf’s Project Director for Print Technologies – Sabine Geldermann: “Our primary goal remains to support the industry in any way we can to keep in contact at a national and international level, further develop their network and generate leads. To this end, we will be holding an interim event from 20 to 23 April, providing our exhibitors and visitors with an additional sales channel and allowing them to make reliable plans.”
For visitors who have concerns regarding issued tickets/ refunds, find below important questions and answers:
How do visitors get the money back for purchased tickets?
Tickets for the original date of the fair lose their validity. Visitors who have purchased such tickets will be informed by e-mail that they will receive a voucher for the subsequent event. If a refund is desired, it can be requested via an online form by 31 January. The corresponding link is part of the e-mail that is expected to be sent to visitors with purchased tickets during the week of 7-11 December.
