ASSPPON Ikotun Zone of Alimosho Local Government in Lagos State hosted its members to a well deserved End-of-Year 2017 Get-Together in an atmosphere of merriment and celebrations.
Tagged: 2017 GET-TOGETHER THANKS GIVING & QUIZ COMPETITION, the event was held at Mr. BIGGS Hall opposite First Bank Ikotun Lagos with two lectures by industry veterans titled – MOVING THE PRINTING INDUSTRY FORWARD IN NIGERIA and THE ROLE / IMPORTANCE OF PRINTING WITHIN AN EMERGING ECONOMY by Mr. Tony Akinsoyinu – Publisher of Printing News and Mr. Gbemi Malomo – MD of Printequip respectively.
With Welcome Address by Chairman of ASSPPON Ikotun Zone, Mr. Kolapo Abiodun and a presentation from Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON) on the Institute, the highlight of the event was THE QUIZ COMPETITION where 15 participants took part which at the end emerged 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Positions each winning brand new laptop, brand new standing fan, and brand new 3 phase cooking gas burner respectively. Other major point of the event was when the MC – Mr. Chucks Bernard (from ASSPPON Surulere Branch) called out recharge card pin numbers for fast fingers in the audience to punch into their phones.
Apart from Hon. Kolapo Abiodun, ASSPPON Chairman of Alimosho Division, other Executives in attendance were amongst others the Vice Chairman – Abdullaah, Muhammad-Lawal Oladimeji and the Secretary – Hon. Saeed Ismail.
