Available now, the new device will be showcased at LOUPE Americas 2026 (September 15-17 in Chicago in Booth 720) and PRINTING United Expo 2026 (September 23-25 in Las Vegas in Booth C2450)alongside digital workflow solutions designed to help commercial printers and converters improve efficiency, reduce waste, and deliver consistent colour.
The eXact 2 Basic is an easy-to-use spectrophotometer designed for commercial print production, combining density and L*a*b* colour measurement in a standalone handheld device. It helps press operators move beyond visual inspection and density-only workflows with fast, objective colour verification that supports more accurate production decisions without adding complexity to daily press operations.
At the upcoming events, X-Rite Pantone will demonstrate how the eXact 2 family fits into an integrated colour workflow spanning digital colour standards, ink formulation, press-side measurement, quality management, and production reporting that work together in an integrated workflow.
