Tech start-up – Sourceful has launched the first free-to-use generative AI tool for designs in the packaging industry.
The new generative AI tool called, Spring, will create packaging design ideas in minutes using word-based prompts and a few simple questions about brand colours and design style. Spring, which was built in-house by Sourceful’s team of computer scientists, will enable users to source “beautiful, sustainable packaging for their brand”, according to Sourceful whose tagline is: “the smarter sourcing platform for packaging”.
With the mission to make it easier to create sustainable packaging, through easy and quick online design, measuring carbon footprint in real time and offsetting emissions with just one click, the tool is the latest addition to Sourceful’s easy-to-use platform that combines the power of AI, innovative data tools and direct connectivity with manufacturers.
Explain the innovation, Wing Chan, co-founder of Sourceful, said: “If you’re a small business or starting out in e-comms and you don’t know much about packaging, it can be difficult to know where to begin. With Spring, potential customers can start ideating and experimenting straight away on the Sourceful website without the need to engage designers or agencies. Spring is just one example of how Sourceful is using the latest technologies to solve supply chain challenges and make things more efficient and more sustainable for businesses.”
