The PROPAK West Africa 2020 International Exhibition and Conference slated to take place in Lagos September this year was deferred to 14 – 16 September 2021 due to the ongoing global uncertainty with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
However, to keep our Plastics, Packaging, Food Processing and Print communities connected, engaged, and inspired, we will be running the PROPAK West Africa Webinar Series from September to October 2020.
The focus of the Webinar Series is to ensure connection with professionals in the industries, share innovation, insights and opportunities available in the region in the light of the New Normal as well as inspire regional collaboration in the sustainable development of the manufacturing space in West Africa. Discourses will cover topics such as Opportunities for a Circular Economy post COVID-19, Climbing the Innovative Packaging & Recycling Curve, Impact of the New Normal on the Packaging Industry, and Opportunities in the Print Industry in the New Normal. We especially aim to leverage this series to highlight and reaffirm the huge and real potential the manufacturing industry has in supporting the region’s growth from non-fossil fuel sectors.
Some of our confirmed speakers include Aruna Oshiokamele, Managing Director Tetra Pak Nigeria, Daphna Nissenbaum, CEO & Co-Founder Tipa Corp, Rukaiya El-Rufai, Partner PwC Nigeria, Olugbemi Malomo, President & Chairman-In-Council, Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON) and Oscar Ndluli, Country Manager SASOL just to mention a few and as part of the panel discussions there will be the chance for audience participation through a question and answer section at the end of each topic, which the organisers hope will encourage engagement from across the industry spectrum.

The organisers are also happy to announce that plans are already off the ground for the return of PROPAK West Africa Exhibition and Conference in September 2021 and further news and information will be made available through the website and regular email briefings over the coming months.
