Mutoh has won a prestigious EDP award, attributed by the European Digital Press Association (EDP), for its ValueJet 1638UH hybrid LED UV printer in the category Best Flatbed/Hybrid Printer up to 20sqm per hour.
The EDP awards are attributed annually by a panel of independent print industry professionals appointed by the European Digital Press Association.
Quoting the Technical Committee’s opinion on the awarded VJ-1638UH: ‘This ValueJet with LED UV is a product category on its own. Mutoh managed to speed up the production with two LED UV lamps on a wide variety of rigid and flexible materials, including heat-sensitive substrates. Offering print resolutions up to 1440 x 1440 dpi, the printer utilises VOC-free inks C, M, Y, K, white and varnish.’
