WHERE To Print gathered that the Xeikon 6000 unlike Xeikon 4000 and 5000plus, comes standard with 1,200 by 3,600 dpi imaging addressability in 4/4 or 5/5 configurations to deal with extreme label production challenges today – and tomorrow.
WHERE To Print investigations also reveal that the Xeikon 6000 supports media widths from 12.6 inches to 20 inches and has an imaging width of 19.7 inches. Thus it prints at a top speed of 39 feet per minute (170 lettersize images per minute) and has a monthly duty cycle of 5.3 million pages. It is capable of printing on substrates ranging from 27 lb text (40 gsm) to 16-point board stock (350 gsm).
