Fujifilm Business Innovation and Konica Minolta are expected to come together to form new joint venture company to be formally established by the end of September.
According to a press release by both companies, the initial focus of this partnership will be on the procurement of raw materials and parts; an alliance covering toner development and production; and other business alliances covering strategic collaborations. “Through the newly established joint venture, Fujifilm Business Innovation and Konica Minolta will leverage their extensive supplier networks to strengthen their business foundations by establishing a robust supply system for their products and streamlining their business processes,” the statement stated.
