It was an historical turn-around for African Christians and the print communities who received a boost as Living Faith Church (aka Winners Chapel) announced the commencement of large scale production of bibles by her ministry publishing arm – Dominion Publishing House.
The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (owners of Dominion Publishing House) Bishop David Oyedepo made this history-making pronouncement at the annual convention of the Winners Chapel’s Shiloh on December 6th 2016 noting that with the church installation of the first automated bible printing press in Africa, large scale production of bibles, tracts and other scriptures in English, French and other Nigerian and African languages would be done in Nigeria.
It would be recalled that the 1996 ECOWAS Gold Award Winning Recipient – Dominion Publishing House which was commissioned in 1992 and successfully rolled out over two million copies of Christian books from her press and also distributed thousands of bibles during the annual convention. With this singular feat by Dominion Publishers, foreign exchange as well as job creation will be further boosted while contributing to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
