Cama Group has previewed the MTL Monoblock, a packaging machine capable of simultaneously handling different types of products and carton pack formats which according to the company is; “A real revolution in the field of adaptive production, made possible thanks to the partnership with industrial automation and mechatronics expert B&R.”
In detail, the MTL Monoblock system enables three electrical lines to be fed synchronously to a single top loader. “Unlike a traditional machine, with the MTL Monoblock it is possible to make the most of the times and cycles of each station, considerably increasing overall productivity and reducing dimensions to a minimum,” points out Alessandro Rocca, Sales Director of the Cama Group.
The MTL Monoblock is capable of handling 2,000 skus per minute, at a speed of 4 metres per second and with an acceleration of 50 metres per second, thanks in particular to the innovative ACOPOStrak transport system with independent magnetic carriages. Developed in conjunction with B&R, this system offers maximum flexibility in managing different types of parcel containing up to three different types of product. This flexible, ergonomic, and modular loading machine, suitable for coffee capsules, features transparent guards for maximum visibility and optimal hygiene.
