Printers in the country have been advised to be optimistic and endeavor not to let the current recession in the economy which will not last, to define them.
This advise was made by Mr. Afolabi – MD/CEO of Triumph Concept, Ibadan, Oyo State while speaking with WHERE To Print in his office recently. Examining the current economic situation, Afolabi believes that though prices of almost all print machineries, materials and consumables have sky-rocketed as they are all import-dependent, but as entrepreneurs – printers should try as much as possible to think out-of-the-box by innovating and offering better services to their customers.
He posits: “How do you explain this? When you do a job for N320, 000 and your total gain is N13, 800 which excludes operational costs, maintenance cost, staff wages and all sort, business is bad this days – I know but we need to look at ways to better the services of our customers. That way, they will keep coming back”. He concluded by urging current administration to strategize on better and more practical ways of leading the country out of the present predicament and restore her past glory.
