While delivering his address at the commissioning of the ultra-modern facility titled “WIND OF CHANGE”, GM/ CEO of Baptist Press – Pastor Aderinto Olajide went down memory lane of the over fifty years press to disclosed that with the giant strides of the visionary and enterprising Nigerian Baptist Convention under the leadership of Convention President – Rev. Dr. Samson Olasupo Ayokunle, the Board of the Press took a bold and uncommon decision to change Baptist Press facilities in order to meet up with the current printing and publishing needs of not only the church but of the entire country. To this end, Baptist Press has now changed from analogue to full digital press; from conventional to computerized print operations and from monochrome press operation to a full process quality colour printing operations.

Baptist Press now boast of brand new Agfa Avalon Computer-to-Plate A1 machine; brand new Xante Impressia DI machine; brand new Komori Enthrone 29 A2 4-Colour Printing machine; and brand new Manugraph M-360 4-Colour web machine (the first of its kind in Nigeria) aside other reconditioned printing and finishing presses.

“In conclusion, we are yet to get to where we are going. This is just the beginning. By ourselves alone, we cannot get there. I am using this occasion to invite you again to partner with us so that when we eventually get there; your name and that of your organisation will be written in gold as one of those who contributed to our success story” enjoins Pastor Olajide.
