Following the positive response to the launch of the inaugural FESPA Middle East 2024 (that took place at Dubai Exhibition Centre – DEC from 29 to 31 January 2024), FESPA announced that the event will return to the same DEC Dubai, United Arab Emirates and will run for equally three days from 14 to 16 January 2025, significantly occupying bigger space extending from the North Halls of the venue to include halls 1A, 1B and 2A.

According to FESPA Regional Manager, Middle East & Africa, Bazil Cassim: “The exhibitor and visitor feedback to the launch of FESPA Middle East has been overwhelmingly positive and reaffirms our decision to expand our offering into the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region. In response to this, we are delighted to be returning to the Dubai Exhibition Centre for a second edition in 2025 and look forward to offering a platform that builds on the success and our learnings from the 2024 event. In the meantime, we will continue supporting our growing community in this region through our FESPA Direct membership.

Right from the opening day, FESPA Middle East 2024 got off to an impressive start with the printing, signage, and visual communications communities filling up the state-of-the-art DEC exhibition halls, connecting, networking and making visible impact in the region’s booming industries as exhibitors displayed their unique offerings into the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia region.

The event also featured extensive educational programmes where visitors discovered hundreds of solutions for wide format, textile printing and sign making technology, software, media and consumables. Not only that, visitors also joined the second FESPA Leadership Exchange (FLEX) – the knowledge-sharing sessions that delved into market trends and brands, sustainability and new technology.

Other programmes that gave the show a premium endorsement by the region’s professionals included an interactive colour management workshops such as Colour Confidence session aimed at print operators, giving practical guidance on colour management with the view to define accuracy, enhance consistency and reproduction, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions. It also has a session devoted to sales professionals; offering them actionable advice on effectively navigating customer communications around colour accuracy, brand requirements and sales strategies.

The highpoint of the show was the first World Wrap Masters Middle East (on stand 2-E60) where professionals in the region showcased their wrapping skills for a chance to compete in the 2024 World Wrap Masters Final in Amsterdam, the Netherlands at the FESPA Global Expo from 19 to 22 March, 2024.

In all, over 130 brands of digital wide format, screen, and textile printing hardware, software, media, and consumables, as well as printed and non-printed signage solutions were on presentation at the inaugural show. These included print and signage solutions from event sponsors such as Canon, CMYK, Epson, Flex-Europa, and Signtrade; hardware from leading suppliers like IECHO, Mimaki, Roland, and Vanklaser; and media and consumables from Aerolam, Avery Dennison, BestSub, Boyang, MacTac, and Mecolour were among the participating companies. Not only that, a strong line-up of distributors also showcased inspiring applications from a range of global brands including 3M, Arlon, Brother, Grando, Graphtec, GZ, HP, Mutoh, Onyx, Orafol, Philips Digital Signage, PONGS, swissQprint, Valiani, Vision, and many more.
